Business areas

The major business area of NKL® GmbH is the development and production of toroidal core chokes and interference suppression filters. Additionally there is our service in EMC consulting and our EMI test laboratory. 

The major application of our parts is within the EMC sector.
Due to the increasing utilization of switched mode power supplies (SMPS), the portion of storage chokes is also growing. Another growth market is opening up in the field of PFC controllers in order to improve the mains quality by reducing the harmonics of the mains. 

Current transformers, signal transformers etc. are only a smaller portion, however, they round up our spectrum. Most of the EMC tests required for the CE qualification can be done in our laboratory. The emphasis, however, is not so much on mere routine measurements, but rather in offering solutions for all kinds of EMC problems.
